How do I measure my child for a custom yymn?

*Always measure your child WITH their cloth diaper on*

Hips:
Place the start of the measuring tape on one hip, and wrap around until you have made a loop around the widest part of your child's hips.

Rise:
Place the start of the measuring tape at the lower back, put between the legs and end right below the belly button.

Inseam:
Place the start of the measuring tape at your child's crotch and, with the leg extended, measure to right below the ankle.

Chest:
Place the start of the measuring tape in the middle of your child's chest, wrap under one arm and then the other, causing the tape to meet.

Arm:
Place the start of the measuring tape at your child's armpit, keeping the arm fully extended, and end at the wrist.

Why use wool?

With all the cloth diapering options out there, why would someone choose to use wool as a diaper cover? Wool diaper covers are ideal for use over cloth diapers. Not only does wool breathe, allowing baby's skin to stay dry and healthy, but wool has natural anti microbial properties, sheds dirt and is easy to keep clean. This reduces the risk of diaper rash.

Wool is a very absorbent fiber, capable of holding 30 percent of its weight in moisture. It breathes as moisture is pulled away from the body and released into the air, making wool comfortable to wear in both warm or cold weather. Many other diaper covers simply lock in the moisture against your little one's skin.
